Barbers 1833 Vintage Cheddar

A deep creamy cheddar with a smooth finish. Made using traditional starter cultures and the finest West Country milk. Aged for at least 24 months to give it those distinctive sweet notes which balance out the classic Cheddar tang.
A cheese with fantastic complexity and depth perfect in a sandwich or as part of a cheeseboard best served with some crisp apple and a rich onion chutney.
The Barbers have been making cheese in Somerset since 1833 (hence the name) and while the methods may be different the starter cultures haven't changed in all that time helping to make Barbers a classic, distinctive flavour that you will surely enjoy.
