This wine's predecessor was one of the showstoppers of Christmas 2020. If we could recommend any bottle of wine for your Christmas day meal it would be this one. Truly sensational rounded and equally enjoyable for long-time connoisseurs of wine and those who just enjoy tasting delicious bottles!

A deep ruby red wine with blackberry and cherry, with a herbaceous minerality which is alluring as you sip, elements of cinnamon and cocoa help round out the distinctive flavour. Velvety tannins are complemented by the savoury sweetness of the French oak from the aging of the wine leaves a long smooth fruity finish with elegant mouth feel.

This is a wine that breaks with the accepted norms of winemaking - Fantini has chucked the rulebook out of the window and makes exceptional wines using a variety of grapes from all across Italy.

This unique perspective has brought them to the forefront of modern winemaking. With this exceptional wine having won the coveted 99/100 rating from Luca Moroni three years in a row!

A wine that is made from 5 different grape varieties and is put together in such a way that still pleases even the most discerning of wine critics. This is a rich, very satisfying wine featuring some varieties that may not be extremely familiar to most: Montepulciano, Primitivo, Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera and Sangiovese.

Fermentation takes place in 60% American oak barrels and 40% French oak barrels, this combination offers a slightly more acidic edge but with the sweeter and more savoury elements of the french oak.
